糖尿病内科は糖尿病（インスリンの作用不足によって高血糖からなる、様々な合併症を引き起こす病気）由来の合併症の治療・管理および予防を中心に行っています。

診療を行っている主な症例

境界型糖尿病
早期に生活習慣の改善をすることで糖尿病発症を遅らせたり、予防をします。食事・運動療法が主体になります。

2型糖尿病
食事・運動療法とともに服薬治療が中心となります。 重症な場合インスリン注射の治療もあります。

1型糖尿病
体内でのインスリンが生産されないため、インスリン注射の治療になります。

その他の糖尿病 妊娠糖尿病、ステロイド薬使用時、重篤な肝機能障害時、膵臓摘出後、遺伝子異常などで発症する糖尿病
いずれの糖尿病も詳細な検査を行い、患者さまに説明・相談のうえ治療方針を決定致します。糖尿病の合併症を未然に防ぐ事を目的に治療をすすめていきます。
